What Causes Fluctuating INR Levels Ater Taking Coumadin?

I take Coumadin for a vascular disorder & DVT s. My INR is constantly jumping all over the place & not due to vitamin K comsumption. Is there another medication that I could take instead of Coumadin that wouldn t require monitoring twice a week like I am currently having to do with the Coumadin?

Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern
An INR range of 2.0 to 3.0 is generally an effective therapeutic range for people taking Coumadin(warfarin) for disorders like DVT or vascular disorders. If your value is not within this range, i will advise you see your Cardiologist for evaluation and drug dose adjustment.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns
Wish you good health
