Sometimes my heart rate while laying down at rest can jump to 130 to 150 and onetime while standing after doing nothing strenuous it hit a 183. But it s usually not that bad. What should i do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have fluctuating heart rate . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like high blood pressure , poor blood supply to the heart muscle due to coronary artery disease , heart valve disease, heart failure, heart muscle diseasethyroid disease and emotional stress or drinking . I would suggest you to avoid drinking alcohol and consult cardiologist for proper checkup of your heart condition . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , complete blood profile and checkup for secondary disease like hyperthroidism . Doctor may perform vagal maneuvers , prescribe Tambocor , sometimes doctor may recommend pacemaker . For now stay calm and do not exert your body .
