What Causes Fluctuation In Blood Pressure At Young Age?
I recently have been having blood pressure problems, as in I'm 22, and my blood pressure has consistently been 140/80 or often higher. The doctor just has me watching what I eat and monitoring my blood pressure once a day for a week or two. How come when I take it, my blood pressure fluctuates so much? Example: Sometimes it drops down to the 20s, and then other times it goes back up to high 40s.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Some fluctuation in blood pressure is normal. Your upper or systolic BP is high & lower or diastolic BP is normal. This much high blood pressure would be easily managed by dietary changes & exercise schedule. You should decrease salt intake and avoid fried & spicy foods. Systolic blood pressure normally increase when we do some physical activity or are under severe stress. Only Diastolic Blood pressure & resting blood pressure is of much important & blood pressure should be recorded after 15-20 minutes of physical activity.
Refer to your physician Hope this information helps
