What Causes Fluid Filled Blisters On Toes?

Hello Dr. Rynne, I ve just been having little air bubbles on/around 2 of my toes on one foot and don t seem to be blisters due to the location/lack of my physical activity. When popped they seemed to be filled with a water-like substance. Any clue on what this could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The fluid filled blisters on your toes could be due bad blood circulation as you are having a sedentary life. It could be of great help if you can send a photo to see if it started to get infected. Meanwhile, try to keep well clean and dry by applying oxygenated water, betaine, antibiotic ointment, and anti-fungal powder.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
