What Causes Food Cravings?

My eating is generally healthy, but every time i have sugar in any form I get high blood sugar (obviously) but then it goes away as normal and i get low blood sugar faster than usual. This roller coaster usually causes me to want food more and mostly sugar and causes me to salivate a lot. When this happens i cannot distinguish between hunger and a food crave, is this normal? I am 23, 6 0, 200 lbs, no medical problems except scarlet fever when i was 7. I am a healthy individual

1. WHEN U HAVE FOOD CRAVING, DO U END UP EATING HUGE AMOUNTS OF CARBOHYDRATE-RICH FOODS LIKE CAKES, PASTRIES, COOKIES, CHOCOLATES? IF YES, THEN U ARE HAVING AN EATING BINGE DUE TO FOOD CRAVING RATHER THAN HUNGER
2.HAS UR BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL BEEN ACTUALLY LOW AT ANY TIME WHEN U HAVE THESE CRAVINGS?
3. DO U GET SYMPTOMS OF HYPOGLYCEMIA LIKE TREMOURS, SWEATING, PALPITATIONS, DIZZINESS, FUZZY THINKING JUST PRIOR TO FOOD CRAVING?
SUGGESTIONS-
KINDLY GET UR FASTING BLOOD SUGAR(FBS) AND POSTPRANDIAL BLOOD SUGAR (PPBS) CHECKED. IF IT IS LOW U NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER REGARDING THE CAUSES.

U CAN TRY SPACING UR MEALS. DO NOT KEEP HUNGRY FOR LONG HOURS AND THEN EAT A HUGE SUGAR-RICH MEAL. EAT AT 3-4 HOURS INTERVALS, IN SMALL TO MODERATE AMOUNTS
