What Causes Foul Smell In The Nose After A Sinus Surgery?

I am 7 months post sinus surgery. For the last 7 months I have had a foul smell, like mold in my sinuses. It comes and goes up to a week at a time, here and there. I am the only one can smell it. Is this normal so 7 months after surgery? My ENT tells me that there is still mild inflammation but that is it

Hello,

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

It can be because of chronic sinusitis but it then must be associated with post nasal drip and mild consistent headache. If you feel the above associated symptoms you need to go for a course of antibiotics.
