What Causes Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge While On Birth Control Pills?

Ive been on birth control pill fr 3 mthns skipping the red pills that lead 2 having my cycle a few days later i started hvng a rotten egg smell discharge recently ive been sexually active wit my partner could this mean i have STD and might have given it to my partner im confused plz help

This in firs palce indicate so called bacterial vaginosis which is not STD but means that there is bacterial growth in vagina. However, STD should always be rule dout if there are concerns about this. Sometimes birth control pills may change vaginal environment and lead to vaginosis so this is possible cause. It is tretaed with antibacterial vaginaletes and antibiotics.
