Could Brown Vaginal Discharge Be Related To Birth Control Pills?
i am using levora birth control pills. i have been using the pill since mid august and have not been taking the week four pills but skipping them and taking the first week pills instead. i am now having brown vaginal discharge. is this related tot he birth control pills?
Irregular vaginal bleeding or brownish discharge can occur with the use of hormonal contraceptives. These symptoms will reduce in the subsequent cycles when your body adjusts to the newer hormonal levels. I would also suggest you not to skip any pills in the pack. Skipping or missing pills can also affect your cycles. Any history of foul smelling discharge should also be treated which can denote vaginal infections.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
