What Causes Frequent Abdominal Pain And Cramping In A Child?
Hello, Recurrent abdominal pain in pre-teen may be due to worms in the abdomen and due to enlargement of nodes in the abdomen (mesenteric adenitis ). Give albendazole every 4 months. You can do an ultrasound scan examination if the pain is severe. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Rajmohan, Pediatrician
