What Causes Frequent And Painful Urination After A Pap Smear?

Hi i had a pap smear last thursday and i bleed during the pap smear. The nurse says it happens sometimes and need not to worry. 3 days ago and till now i feel urge of frequent urination and pain after urination also when there are traves of blood in the tissue after i urinate? What could be the problem?

Hi, I think you have got some urine infections. Get urine checked for routine and microscopy and a culture. Drink around 3 to 4 litres of water per day and take some urine alkaliser like syrup alkasol.
