Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have frequent cold and cough in an infant which is mainly because of lower respiratory tract infection and it is due to poor immunity of body. Allergic reaction can also be one of the reason for symptoms . Need not to worry. You should visit pediatrician once and get it examined. If cough is exaggerating go for blood and sputum test of child. If it is bacterial infection start with proper course of antibiotics. You should give child plenty of fluids. You can start with nebulization for keep continuing it for few days, make sure it will not become a habit for child. Give your child diet that can improve immunity. Avoid intake of outside food. Give child proper rest without any discomfort. Give water after every few mins.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
