What Causes Frequent Dizziness And Headaches?

My 21 year old daughter has been waking in the am feeling dizzy and has severe headaches. Had migraines from 8 to 16 yrs of age ( to the point of causing vomiting from the pain) and then has not had them for past 5 yrs. Dizziness waking up in the morning is new symptom. She is not pregnant. Only med she is taking at this time is birth control. Otherwise seems to be healthy and very active. (Plays on softball team 2 nights a week when not having symptoms.) Going to see Neurologist today. Do you feel this is the correct specialist to see?
