Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Frequent Dizziness, Diarrhea, Abdominal Bloating And Nausea?
I am 66 years old and have history of HPB. I am experiencing frequent dizziness and nausea that is so severe I feel as if I might faint. Attacks usually in mid morning. Also have had increased stomach distress-recurring diarrhea and noise from intestnginal tract.
Enzyme therapy usually brings diarrhea under control and restores absorption of fat to an acceptable level and affects weight gain. Pancreatic enzyme replacement has been the cornerstone of therapy. It is important to use a potent pancreatic formulation that will deliver sufficient lipase ( 80,000–100,000 units ) into the duodenum to correct mal-digestion and decrease steatorrhea.
Some may require acid suppression with proton pump inhibitors (e.g Pantoprazole) to reduce stomach distress.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

What Causes Frequent Dizziness, Diarrhea, Abdominal Bloating And Nausea?
Hello, Following Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery, one can have diarrheas (steatorrhea) and excessive peristalsis of small intestine due to malabsorption.
