What Causes Frequent Fluctuation In BP Levels?

I am 32 years old. Last year i got pregnant but during the eighth month, i lost my baby inside womb. Right on the day of delivery, my bp raised upto 130/200. Since then, i have become hypersensitive. However, i went to doctor. He gave me medicines for just fifteen days. Bp was controlled but just for a few days. I had done all my body blood profile and ECG as well. Nothing came wrong. Now, my problem, i have stress, anxiety and my bp remains normal when i take medicine AMLOPRESS 5 but when i stop taking it, it gets worst? Please suggest me what to do. I am a working lady. and it becomes difficult for me to concentrate on my work during office

Hello,

Since you have a history of hypertension you will have to take medicines to control it, else it may complicate to other medical problems like metabolic syndrome, stroke, heart disease, memory issues, etc. Food & fruits rich in potassium, magnesium & fiber help in controlling blood pressure.

Stress & anxiety are major causes of high blood pressure. Avoid salty food, avoid sedentary lifestyle & maintain healthy weight. Cut on addictions (smoking, alcohol) if any. However, you are suggested to get examined by a GP, get blood & imaging tests done to detect the factors (diabetes, kidney or heart disease, etc) that may cause hypertension.Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
