What Causes Frequent Urination Post Intake Of Morning After Pill?
If my girlfriend and I had protected sex with the first condom and we used a second condom and as I tried to roll it on it was backwards so I switched it around and I don t know if the first condom had pre cum inside it so I gave her the morning after pill and she is peeing a lot. Is she pregnant?
If the emergency contraception was used soon after (within 24 hours) intercourse then the chance of pregnancy is slim.
When used in this time period, it tends to be effective.
Increased urinary frequency can be due to different possible causes such as a urinary tract infection. If it continues, she may need a urine analysis at her doctor's office.
If the infection is confirmed then antibiotics would be needed for treatment.
The use of copious fluids and the use of cranberry juice may also help as well.
I hope this helps
