What Causes Frequent Urination While Suffering From Diabetes?

My husband woke up with the feeling he needs to pee every 15 minutes. Each time it feels like an emergency. There is little flow when he goes. He has HBP and type2 diabetes. Both are controlled with meds. He will not admit such but he is in my opinion a functional alcoholic. He consumes an average of close to 32oz of whiskey a night. He s on many meds as he had a brain aneurysm in 2006 in addition to the diabetes and HBP. He has ED and his fatigue is great.
