What Causes Fullness And Pain In Ears?

i have GPC in my left eye and have been using Prednisone drops for nearly a week. I can taste the drops every time I put them in, which the doctor told me to expect. But now my left ear feels fill and hurts. I have had eustachian tube dysfunction before and it feels very similar. Could it be related?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to eustachian tube dysfunction.
I suggest to use a decongestant such as Sudafed to reduce the swelling of the lining of the tubes.
Taking an antihistamine or using a steroid nasal spray can also help in relieving the symptoms.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
