there is not need for panic now because you do not yet have a problem At 24 weeks, the uterine size is still small and a portion known as the lower segment has not yet formed; so low lying placenta does not really mean anything. The lower segment becomes apparent after the 28 weeks of pregnancy and when it develops, the placenta will be shifted up. Placenta location can be anterior or posterior corporo-fundal. You do not have any problem with the location of the placenta. Abscence of retroplacental clot is rather a good thing implying that nothing is there to separate the placenta and deprieve the baby of nutrients.
Please be rest assure as of now, you do not have any problem. If you have further query, i will be glad to help.
Best regards Dr Achuo
