What Causes Gelastic Seizures In A Child?

my five year old was diagnosed last month with gelsatic seizures and we just got the results of her mri, it came back completely normal. her neurolist started her on depakote but isnt working, her seizures ar egetting stronger and more frequent, leaving her weak and drained afterward, do you have any information that may help me find treatment options for gelastic seizures with no hypothalamic hamartoma?
