What Causes Green Colored Stools While On Flax Seed Supplement?
i am a 53 old female with a thyroid problem I currently take .3 sythroid and lately have developed a bright green stool. the only supplements I take are fish oil and flaxseed oil what could be causing this. I also was diag. with diverticulitis . do I need to see med attention. I have not consumed any food that could cause this

dear flaxseed oil can cause diarrhoea.if your talking green leafy vegetables may cause green stool. other causes like Gallbladder disease
celiac disease,ulcerative colitis,crohn's disease
tumors,diverticular disease may present with green colour stool.so if your diarrhoea may be due to flaxseed oil or diverticulitis. just stop and see the oil if symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
