Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms it seems that there are some sharp elevations over the tissue surface of the dentures and they are causing
injury to the gums leading to bleeding and pain..
You need not to worry about it is treatable condition and you should consult your
dentist and get the sharp areas smoothed by trimming so that it will not hurt you further..
Avoid wearing the denture till you get it trimmed and limit the wearing till the gums are healed..
You can apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine for relief..
Suck ice pops and do
cold water gargles for relief from inflammation, pain and bleeding..
The other part of your question is that there are some people who have a sensitive soft
palate and as anything touches it there is immediate
nausea feeling and at times thee is
vomiting..
Same seems the issue with you..
So it will be better that you tell about this problem to your treating dentist and get evaluated so that he can trim the over extensions of the upper denture if it is extended deep over the soft palate as well as there are certain alterations done in the upper denture in patients who have a problem of gagging and vomiting and your dentist must be knowing that very well and he can relieve you easily..
You need not to take
stress as both these are common conditions and can be treated well..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
