What Causes Hair Fall After Measles?

My son aged 25, had high fever with tiny red spots. It was diagnosed as measles. Now, fever has gone and he is alright but suddenly his hairs are started falling - What are the causes and what should be treatment to stop this falling and how much it will take time to cure?
