What Causes Hand Tremors And Poor Memory While On Gabapentin?
I an using gabapentin 300 mg My handa shake when I m doin things like crocheting. I have forgeting alot of things. I m thinking I should be tested for demention. I m having a real hard time writing this. My speach , sometimes the words come out garbled. could these be perhaps more sibe effects from that drug?

Gabapentin can cause finger tremor and loss of memory as side effects, though infrequent. For dementia screening, you can go through Montreal cognitive assessment (MOCA) or mini-mental state examination (MMSE). Since you are having also speech difficulty (focal deficit), vascular dementia is a possibility.
