What Causes Hard Bump On Arm After IV Catheter Removal?

My little brother has a small hard bump in the crook of his arm (where the arm bends) after getting IV removed at hospital. He had his arm bent while getting it removed but the nurse forcefully pulled it to be straight just as she removed the IV. Is the bump dangerous?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The hard bump on the arm following IV catheter removal is because of the clot formed at the site of catheter. Nothing to be panic, it will take 2-3 weeks for it to subside.
I hope I have answered your query, take care.
