My daughter aged about 19 years was complaining of hardness in her stomach. The physician advised an ultrasonography scanning. It was found that she had a mass leision in her upper abdomen. The gynaegologist recommended surgical removal of the same immediately. The mass was sent for biopsy. I am reproducing the biopsy report: Site of Biopsy:Ovary: Clinical details OVARIAN TUMOUR GROSS; Specimen consists of a well encapsulated mass measuring 24x20x10 cms. Surface is smooth and intact and bosselated. C/s shows solid white areas with partial autolysis. No papillae seen. Multiple sections given. MICROSCOPY: Sections studied show tumour composed of nests and cords of large cells with orund nuclei, coarse chromatin and single prominent eosinophilic nucleoli. Clusters of cells are divided by fibrous septae with lymphocytic infiltration. Abortive tubular formations are seen. No capsular infiltration is seen. IMPRESSION: DYSTERMINOMA OF OVARY. The Gyne has suggested to consult an oncologist. Kindly suggest what is the exact position of the disease
Increased gas could be due to certain food items like beans, lentils, cabbage etc or it could be due to infections.
Gastroparesis is commonly due to diabetes. You need to undergo a few tests to find the cause and treat it.
Tests like blood glucose, stool analysis and an upper GI endoscopy should be done. You can get good relief with medications like Nexpro-L taken once a day before breakfast.
Discuss with your doctor before taking these medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
