What Causes Headache And Earache With Pressure In The Sinus?

I have had headaches, ear aches, pressure on my sinus s for months. I have a collapsing nasal passage on one side of my nose. I seem to be prone to sinus or ear infections. I have a constant problem with getting very hot and sweating all of a sudden then it subsides , I have had my hormones tested. I have just finished 10 days of anti biotics cause I finally went to a walk in clinic in such discomfort but I really think the symptoms are just coming back have never really went away.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of headache and earache with pressure in the sinus which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection that has spread to ear through Eustachian tube leading to dysfunctioning.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles and consult ENT specialist for proper checkup. Doctor may order blood tests and throat swab tests along with ear examination by otoscope. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like gentamycin along with anti inflammatory medications. You should take ibuprofen for pain and apply dry warm compresses on external ear.
