What Causes Headache And Neck Stiffness While On Antibiotics For Sinus Infection?

Hi,I just finished taking antibiotics for sinus infection. Ever since starting the antibiotics, I ve had what I thought was a sinus headache (pain behind my eyes and with eye movement). The headache is still there (not as bad), but now my neck is really stiff and sore, and I am having skin sensitivity on it (almost feels like a sunburn) as well as piercing pain around different parts of my body occasionally. And a bit of nausea as well. It feels like I m perhaps getting the flu…. any thoughts?

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Neck pain is a possible symptom of sinusitis when sinusitis affects the sphenoid sinuses.
This type of infection is present behind the eyes can also result in ear pain and aches in the region at the top of the head.
I suggest to finish the cycle of antibiotics.
I also recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen 400 mg for pain relieve.
I recommend to rest and drink liquids.
