What Causes Headache And Stomach Ache While On Treatment For UTI?
Hello I went to the doctor on Friday and they told me I had a UTI. I have been on a antibiotic since Friday. But I m not feeling any better. I have a headache pain in my stomach and back. I m shaky nauseous and have cold chills. No fever. I was wondering if I should go to the hospital or what else should I do. Thank you Dawn

If you have UTI, then you are likely to have all the symptoms like headache, chills, fever (may or may not be there ) nausea and abdominal pain and body ache also. Ther will also be increased urine frequency. Yu will need to continue the antibiotics at least for about a week to 10 days.(depending upon the drug being given and severity of infection). Take plenty of fluids. You must be also on antipyretic and/or NSAIDs for fever and pain. If you still are not weel then may visit the hospital. Thanks.
