If you have persisting fever, you might require antibiotic therapy that is intravenous.
In such conditions, with such a highly positive widal test, i prefer to use Ceftriaxone and Azithromycin.
Ciprofloxacin is not used these days in Typhoid fever due to high level of resistance.
