What Causes Headache, Runny Nose And Vomiting Inspite Of Taking Nyquil?

My 24 year old son has been sick since last night. Sinus issues, runny nose, headache, general ill feeling and today continued the same. We gave him Nyquil last night and allergy meds this morning. At noon he threw up and has thrown up twice since then. Flu? Cold? We aren't sure what to give him.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns....

As per your complain there is a possibility that the symptoms of sinus congestion, unny nose and headache are Sue to either upper respiratory tract infection or Sinusitis and needs further clinical evaluation..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a throat swab culture and X Ray of the sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..

As of now continue with Nyquiil, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and give Acetaminophen if there is fever and headache..
Chew a Vitamin C pellet..
Take soft diet and sip plenty of warm water..
