I suffered a concussion on the 23/12/16 and had headaches for which a doctor prescribed ponstan I didn t take any and the headache left after a week . Two weeks after the concussion I participated in some down hill mountain biking without incident. The sections were pretty aggressive and bounced the body around a lot . Two hours after the activity the headache reappeared with more venom and also some dizziness. I took the ponstan for two days which relived the only so have stopped as it as started to upset the stomach. what should I do as it is effecting every day life now.

Hello,

You can take the ponstan with some omeprazole to help reduce acids in the stomach and protect the stomach. Also you can take ponstan after food and in a smaller dose if you add paracetamol with it.

If the headache lasts more then 10 days you will need to see a doctor to make sure all is well with the brain and no other important conditions is causing it.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
