Headaches, bloating, edema, acid reflux, flushed skin, lack of sleep and waking up exhausted, changes in vision and bouts of diarrhea. I ve been having these symptoms for 3-4 weeks now everyday. My regular doctor ran lab work, but everything came back fine. BP was slightly elevated, but not concerning. Stumped as too what is causing this. Any ideas?
It seems that you have gastritis which is irritation or inflammation of the gastric mucosa. This can cause a feeling of acidity and bloating. Along with this some people have diarrhea as well.
You may have also got some dehydration because of the diarrhea which is leading to the eye problem. You can try a few things to see if it helps you. These things will be: Take 20 ml of Pepto-Bismol 2 to 3 times a day which will help you Along with this, drink lots of water and get lots of sleep
Another possibility is that you have Irritable bowel Syndrome which happens in stressed individuals. The treatment for this is to avoid stress and eat at regular times. In IBS, a person will start to feel better after he/she improves his lifestyle. Please follow up so we can better get to the diagnosis.
Hope this helps you
