What Causes Headaches, Pressure On Head, Cracks On Crunches On Turning Head?
hi i have been to the doctor about this before and just been told its migraines, i have been getting headaches for years mainly behind thes and back of neck, it also feel like pressure in my head and when i lift my head up it feels like somethings jammed in the back of my head. i also get a really irritating feeling in my neck and some times if i turned my head it cracks or crunches. i also get a swooshing noise in my ears and blurred vision. my father has chiari malformation is there anyway that it can be passed on genetically, i sometimes feel like i cant swallow either when i have these headaches and my behavious changes.
I have studied your case. Yes chairi can be genetic,I will advise you MRI brain and cervical spine. Due to compression of this nerve root there can be headache and neck pain.
For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started. Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help. Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief. I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
