I m a 28 year old woman and I ve never had any history of having severe headaches. Over the weekend I had a headache that progressivley got worse. I fell asleep and I woke up abruptly due to my headache becoming so severe. There was a lot of throbbing in my head, to the point of vommiting about 5 to 6 times. I checked my blood pressure and it s normal, I even went as far as taking a pregnancy test which came back negative. I don t know if I should go to the Doctor to get this checked out. Headaches to the point of vommiting really concern me. What advise would you have?
I advise you to visit your Physician as early as possible. The sequence of symptoms you are having suggest an intra cranial cause of headache or a type of migraine.I am afraid you will need to attend your Physician or Neurologist and get a complete workup done for your headache.
Take care.
