What Causes Headaches With A History Of Arthritis?

I have glaucoma, degenerative disc disease, herniated disc at L5 impinging on S1, serum negative rheumatoid arthritis. For the past two years I have been getting a lot of headaches, fogginess that often causes me to be weak or loose my balance. I have fallen several times. I had a CAT scan of my head done and nothing was found. I also get lumps that form on the back of my head, hurt for awhile and then go down. I have had a hysterecomy where they took out 13 tumors and my cervix. I also have medullary sponge kidney disease. I have had several stones in the past, the last one gave me blood poisoning and I had to have a lithotrispy to get it out. Ever since the blood poisoning, I feel weak, and my other symptoms seem to have increased. Can you tell me what to have my doctor check for? She can't seem to pin point a problem.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case.
I will advise you MRI brain and spine.
Loss of balance can be related to cerebellum function.
I will advise you to EMG-NCV for better diagnosis.

Another possibility of vascular obstruction, for this clinical examination may be required.
CT angiography will help in diagnosis.

Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. If you are satisfied with answer do not hesitate to rate this answer at end of discussion.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
