What Causes Headaches With Dizziness And Ringing?

Recently, my frequent headaches have been hurting more than usual, and have been getting more frequent. In my last worse cases, I felt something in my forehead, like a surge of blood popping, and I got extreme dizziness. Afterwards, I cannot move, I feel as though I am unable to think, everything around me just seems so surreal. I also get frequent ringing in my ears, sometimes they cause the headaches. And recently, I have trouble remembering things more than usual, and when I try to remember, or concentrate my mind on something, I get a headache as well. I am nineteen years old, and I weigh about 230 lbs. I am 5 6. I have never gone to a doctor before about my headaches.

Hello,

Headache and dizziness are commonly caused due to dehydration, low blood glucose, low BP, thyroid issues, anemia, poor general health condition, etc. You should keep yourself well hydrated and take home made nutritious food (rich in minerals and protein) over packaged junk food. Stay away from stressful lifestyle and addictions like alcohol, smoking, weeds, etc. Ringing in the ears associated with dizziness is caused by migraines, certain medications, alcohol, inner ear issues, tension headache, etc.

Left untreated it may complicate to vertigo (benign positional vertigo (BPV). Since you are dizzy, do not drive or do any heavy work. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT, get routine blood work outs, audiology tests and imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing you discomfort. You will be treated accordingly. You should avoid swimming and protect your ears. Switch to healthy lifestyle. Take adequate sleep. To ease discomfort, you can take Acetaminophen, one SOS when required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
