Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter has had a hearing loss in one ear and has just had an MRI scan which has highlighted some vessels that are enlarged hats his she explained it we are besides ourselves with worry the Ear nose and throat doctors felt it was unusual for someone her age? We are awaiting a referral but so so worried she is 33
I am concerned with your daughters condition. I want to know exactly what do you mean by enlarged vessels? is it some kind of AV malformation or is it an aneurysm? If we consider both the scenarios yes, both can cause hearing loss and are treatable. I suggest you to visit ENT specialist and let him decide what is better for your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
