The systematic plan of investigations and management in young patients is as follows with explanation wherever needed. * The exact cause may not be known in most of the patients hence it is needed to do MRI for the ear structures like cochlea, the nerve and brain. MRI can show if there is any problem with the nerve, any vascular loops around the nerve, any tumor particularly at CP angle. * Audiogram to be repeated to see if there is any improvement, deterioration or so. * Tests of blood for diabetes, thyroid problems and as needed. * If a specific cause like CP angle tumor is diagnosed then she may have to go for surgery. * Nerve tonics to be taken. * Hearing aid to be used as soon as possible. This is the only way in most of the patients.
