What Causes Heart Pain Radiating To The Arm?

Ever since I had a tooth infection my heart has been racing. A heat sensation from the tooth to my heart could be felt. I cannot sleep for the past 2 weeks and am exhausted but I feel like I just ran a marathon. A pain goes from my heart down my left arm especially at night. I can t lay flat. If I sit up it seems to help my heart rate to come down some.

@ Along with sympathetic innervation of heart at spinal cord level T1 to T5, there is synapse at cell bodies in dorsal root ganglion level. The function of which is to monitor the myocardium that there is enough supply of oxygen or not ? And that is how when there is ischemia ( heart problem ), there is chest pain and upper limb pain via spinal cord segmental mechanics.
