What Causes Heart Palpitations When Using A CPAP Machine?
I have been using a CPAP machine since Jan. 3rd. In the past few days I have been experiencing heart palpitations. Today they are on-going. My normal heart beat is 54. Today it fluctuates between 82-92. Can the CPAP be the cause of this problem? With each palpitation there is a strong pulse in the upper chest.

I really appreciate your concern look the machine that you uses is creating the positive air pressure and that may not cause the changing in your heart rate you have a history of sleep apnea so this condition it self may be the cause of change of your heart rate, you have to keep your stress level low to avoid this, take care and have nice day.
