Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is a bp of 98/67 with a heart rate of 121 anything to worry about when you are taking your Lisinopril/Hydrochlorothiazide 20/25 regularly? I ve been packing for a move out of state and keep feeling somewhat light headed from time to time. I just retook it and now it seems to be more normal 114/79 heart rate of 100, but have not been moving around as much for the past 30 mins.
The symptoms you are experiencing and the BP 98-67 are symptoms of hypotension and this is probably caused by antihypertensive drugs that you are taking such lisinopril and hydroclorthyaside.
You probably need to lower their dosage. Also, you may need to start a beta blocker such atenolol in order to lower the heart rate which has been elevated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
