I have single sided deafeness. I cannot hear with my right ear. The inside of my right ear or rather the right hand side of my head feel heavier. It has for many years. It s actually become so normal that I dont even think about it any more. should I be worried?
Hi, Unilateral hearing loss is tolerated by many because it is well compensated by the other healthy ear. The thing that you should always keep in mind is that, preserve the precious other ear by all means.Dont go near loud sounds, avoid all sorts of noise pollution. I don't know the exact reason of hearing loss in your ear,may be due to some viral infections during childhood or meningitis. As long as you are not hearing impaired, you can go on like this and preserve the better hearing side.
