OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

In the current scenario, I would ask you to get a sonogram of the pelvis to know if there is any abnormal finding like retained products in the uterus as cause of the bleeding. If negative, hormone levels are to be checked to see if there is any irregularity. If so, hormone supplements are given to control the bleeding. Meanwhile, styptics can be used to control the bleeding. Nutritional supplements are also needed.

Hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
