Hi, I had a surgical abortion on 18th March this year...they told me that the procedure had been successful and sent me on my way. My first period was fine (very light and only last for afew days) and i thought that everything was o.k until last week i got my second period (2months after procedure) i have been suffering from painful periods, heavy blood flow and blood clots....the pain was so intense that i was rolling around on the floor in tears and being sick. i woke in the morning to find i had soaked through my pad, underwear and my tracksuit bottoms. i went to the doctors who advised that this was normal after a termination and she prescribed me with Primolut N to stop the pain and the bleeding. I took the tablets for two days which lessened the pain and the blood flow until yesterday when i woke up in pain with bright red blood and passed some fleshy tissue about 2-3 inches long. I also did a pregnancy test two days ago which was positive and again today which was negative....whats going on? Have i experience a failed abortion/miscarriage?? Thanks
