hi dr i had a c section 42 days back .it is my ist baby. I had vaginal bleeding for about 19 days and then off and on spoting and bleeding. Then i srarted heavy bleeding 10 pads per day. Dr prescribed me transamine 3 times a day but no effect after 5 days. I m breastfeeding. Wat shuld i do.

If there are symptoms such as fever with rigors or foul smelling vaginal discharge it is more in favor of infection. it is suggested you have a ultrasound evaluation to exclude any bits of placenta inside your uterus.
