What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After A Sonohysterogram?

hi i had a Sonohysterogram today by my gynecologist. I am on the third day of my period. The test was done to determine why i have heavy bleeding with blood clots. I have had problems since my teens, I have children and I am in my early 40 s. I have a polyp and a fibroid inside my uterus. when is it ok to have this test while menstruating?

Hi I think it is done after periods and before ovulation. If your periods are very light or stops on 3rd day, it can be done on that day. If you are bleeding at the time of test, result can be not very clear. Hope it helps.
