What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Along With Clots Post Surgical Abortion?
Hello I had a surgical abortion over 4 months ago now, and during the procedure I had the implant put in however my bleeding was excessive to the extent I ve been passing out and I got told that it was my implant causing this not the abortion. however I had my implant taken out a few weeks ago now, but the bleeding still remains the same. I m getting clots and I can feel the blood coming out of me its that bad is this normal to happen or is there something wrong? I ve been to a&e and the hospital quite a few times now and they just send me away

Bleeding even after 4 months of surgical abortion is certainly not normal. Bleeding up to 2 weeks following surgical abortion is considered normal. As the implant also got removed a few weeks ago and still you are bleeding, it's not at all normal.
My recommendations are as follows
1) Take tab. Tranexamic acid 400mg, twice daily for 2-3 days
2) Please consult a gynecologist for thorough evaluation and if necessary any pelvic examination
3) Please do take iron tablets like tab. Dexorange daily 2 after food for 3months to replenish iron stores for hemoglobin
Please do consult another gynecologist for further evaluation.
