What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Post Intake Of Nordette?
Hi doc.,I have unprotected sex last August 5.At first we use condom. The 2nd and the 3rd round we did withdrawal method.I wasn t sure if he withdrawed everything so I took nordette as ECP 15hrs after that unprotected sex.I was expecting my mentrual period for this month on August 13.I took 4pills for the 1st doze and I took another 4pills after 12hrs.August 11 5days after I took the 2doze of nordette as ECP I have withdrawal bleeding it s kinda heavy. Is it my mentrual period of the month Doc or its just the side effect of the pill?does it mean I m safe now?
Side Effects of Nordette include Nausea, vomiting, headache, bloating, breast tenderness, swelling of the ankles/feet (fluid retention), or weight change may occur. Vaginal bleeding between periods (spotting) or missed/irregular periods may occur, especially during the first few months of use.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
