What Causes Heavy Vaginal Clotting During Menstruation Post Caesarean?

Post partum bleeding (Even with clots) may be present for 3-6 weeks normally. But after this period, if the bleeding still persists, we are to look for the cause and management accordingly. However in your case, as the bleeding is heavy, so it should be controlled urgently to avoid any complication. Hence, a course of hemostatic tablet seems logical, as advised by your doctor. However, if the heavy bleeding still persists, then an early intervention is advised.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
