In presence of negative urine culture-2 possibilities to be ruled out- a-AFB induced TB cystitis-causing bleeding with clots. b-False negative reports/ or -antibiotic contamination-giving negative Urine Culture reports-with Clots and bleeding. Other causes-need to be tested with-Cystoscopy from Urologist-with biopsy,to fix the cause of bleeding and clots-if need be. Leukocyte Esterase test(LE urine test) rand Urine nitrites to detect undetectable UTI, needs to be done to rule out these possibilities. Do s Suggested- Consult Urologist in this scenario- Get Cystoscopy , after-CT abdomen study for KUB assessment. Other causes need to be ruled out as suggestedd above. Urine Culture -for AFB organisms Think of mass in bladder/urethra causing this complaint and treat after investigations by Urologist.
